Martinique is the latest site to join the MangMap platform, which is thus extending its geographical coverage to the French West Indies. Temporal summaries covering the island's mangroves are now available to the scientific community and managers of these ecosystems.

This integration is part of MangMap's gradual expansion plan to its 16 pilot sites and enhances the mangrove ecosystem monitoring system across French-speaking tropical and subtropical territories.
